RENOVATIONS: If you go anytime soon don't expect valet unless you are a diamond player or up. The couple I met during my last trip were also complaining about how tight machines were in this place. I rarely hear of anyone winning anything in there. You can spend several hundred dollars on slots and never get a bonus or a slight win. No, I don't expect to walk out with the money I take with me, but I would like a little time on machine. The first couple of times I went, we would walk out feeling like we had gotten a pretty good value for the money. I've noticed that over the years, Harrah's Cherokee has only gotten tighter. Considering this is the ONLY casino on the Cherokee reservation, I suppose this is to be expected. GAME PLAY: Machines in this casino are TIGHT. Personally, I enjoy my trips to this casino but other reviews on this site are more or less on the mark. From what other family members and friends that play have told me, Harrah's is pretty average or less. I'm not a local however, this is the closest place I can go if I want to gamble. I've been going to Harrah's Cherokee for a pretty long time.
